Loxley Darts would like to extend our thanks to Bradly Roes for representing us proudly over the past 2 years. During his time with the Loxley Academy we have guided him to not one, but TWO youth World Championship titles.

We wish Bradly all the very best of luck as he moves on to the next step in his career.

Double youth world champion!

Since signing with Loxley, Bradly has gone on to win both the JDC World Championship at the Alexandra Palace as well as the WDF Youth World Championship at the Lakeside!

Bradly Roes

Young talent Bradly is one of the most talented Dutch darters of the moment and very highly rated. Bradly will be plying his trade in Dutch competitions as well as on the Development Tour (if 2021 restrictions allow).

Bradly Roes profile (by Joe Reid):

A player who I’ve seen compete a few times on NDB Live-streams over on YouTube, I was thrilled when I heard Loxley had completed the signing of one of the Netherlands foremost talents. A 6-time ranking tournament winner in his home country, competing against the likes of Jurjen van den Velde and Pim van Bijnen – the future is certainly bright for Loxley’s latest acquisition!

Bradly started playing darts just three years ago, after feeling inspired by the meteoric rise of Dutch darting legends, such as Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld. “I had a dartboard at my grandma’s house and threw some darts, and I really liked it”. It was here he began to perfect his trade, in preparation for what was to come in his promising darts career. Just three months after throwing his first darts, Bradly was entered into his first tournament – a natural talent it would seem!

Despite his relatively short career, Bradly already has plenty of accolades to his name. His proudest moment, he says, was “winning six tournaments in the Netherlands”, a fantastic achievement in such a short space of time. As well as this, Bradly holds his latest sponsorship deal with Loxley Darts in equally high regard, stating “It’s nice that they gave me the opportunity to play for Loxley Darts [as] they give me a chance to develop myself to be a better player”.

The defining moment in his short career was winning his first tournament, defeating many of the Netherlands brightest stars to claim victory. After coming through a tough group, Bradly won all three knockout games 3-1 to win the NDB Aspiraten Champion League title. Defeating Dylan van Lierop in the final, Bradly informed me that, since then, “my confidence is getting better, and my darts is getting better and better”.

In the short term, Bradly hopes to compete in the PDC Development Tour, in the hope of securing a spot in the 2021 PDC World Youth Championship. In the long term, Bradly has his eyes on an elusive PDC Tour Card, and to compete at the prestigious PDC World Championship, alongside fellow countrymen Michael van Gerwen, Danny Noppert and Dirk van Duijvenbode.

So there you have it! Everything you need to know about the latest talent to be added to the Loxley ranks, who will be playing alongside the likes of Jack Male and Owen Maiden (the latter whose set of Loxley darts Bradly currently uses!) in the Development Tour later this year. Best of luck, Bradly!
